The CLAHS Staff Development committee distributes funds from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences for staff who want to improve workplace skills by furthering their education, attending classes, workshops, conferences, or participation in professional opportunities. CLAHS staff members who want to develop their work skills can apply for funds to be used towards classes, conferences and professional organizations*. In the 2013-2014 fiscal year, the committee awarded over $5000 to 38 staff members to attend classes offered on campus. The following is a breakdown of the funds distributed:
